City Gay Tours offers this exciting walking tour to discover the iconic attractions and landmarks of Stockholm.
After meeting, we will visit the City Hall, Stadhuset a symbol world famous of Stockholm and venue to the annual Nobel Award Banquet, and the Royal Palace to admire the Baroque style and have a look around. If we are lucky, we can witness the changing of the guards.
Next, we will walk to Gamla Stan, the Old Town of Stockholm, to learn about the history and culture of the city.
We will continue our tour to Södermalm, the Bohemian district of the city where we will visit the viewpoint Monteliusvägen to enjoy a panoramic view of the Lake Mälarenand and explore the trendy neighbourhood.
Discover some secret spots that only a local can point you. Our local guide can’t wait to share some favorite places with you. We will enjoy lunch at a spot that suits your mood – pickled herring, perhaps? After lunch we will take things down a notch and have fika.
Continuing our tour we will catch a ferry for a 10-minute crossing to the lush green Djurgården island and a walk through the park to visit the famous Vasa, Nordiska and Skansen Open-Air museums.
